Questions

What is the difference between boxing, kickboxing and Muaythai?
Boxing is a type of martial art where only punches are allowed. Wrestling and kicking are strictly prohibited. The main focus is on punching techniques and body protection.

Kickboxing combines punches and kicks, while in most versions of this sport, knee and elbow strikes are prohibited. The emphasis is on a combination of punches and kicks, although wrestling and throwing are usually excluded.

Muay thai, or Thai boxing, allows you to use punches with all parts of the body: fists, legs, knees, elbows, and even the head. This is the most versatile type listed, as it includes elements of clinch fighting and throws.
